Each day there is a structured lesson or workshop from 10-11:30am. There are also occasional mandatory work periods in the garden. The rest of the day consists of self-directed learning and play. Arts and crafts, woodworking, cooking, gardening, nature studies, board games, scootering and skateboarding, and local field trips are options every day. We have two adults and a teen on staff every day, and a maximum of 18 kids on site at a time.
Preschool Program: By popular demand, we are creating a program for children ages 3-5, beginning in January of 2019. The younger kids will integrate with the older students, but also have a dedicated teacher working with them, and an extra teen assistant. The cost is $3000/child for January-June of 2019.
